Hush Money Trial Jury Instructions
Breaking down the Jury Instructions for seating Trump's NY Hush money trial starting 4/15
It is here.
Finally upon us.
The very first criminal trial of former President Donald Trump. It may not be the one that we wanted to go first, but alas it is what we are going to get.
Starting on Monday the court, prosecution, and defense will begin the process of selecting a jury for this case. Today I am going to go over the instructions the judge has ruled will go forward into trial.
There are 42 questions in total, some are very cut and dry and don’t need any explanation or commentary. Others, I will dive into. I may need to break this into more than one post if it becomes to lengthy.
For this, the instructions from that ruling include names, identification, addresses, and other private information from the jurors. We saw this ruling weeks back. Number three in the instructions basically puts the 42 question questionnaire in place. Got it?
Very basic questions about their background, work, education, area they live in, etc. Something very common on jury questionnaires.
This is where we are going to start getting some more interesting questions. Now that the personal life aspect is kind of generally covered it moves onto more niche questions.
Of course going into a trial like this they want to know the kind of news consumption the jury is used to. Seeing what kind of exposure they had to these topics prior to the trial itself.
Again, what kind of media are the potential jurors exposed to. I am sure anyone spitting off Alex Jones or even Pod Save America will get the ax. Btw, Pod Save America is amazing, and you should be listening to it.
Some more pretty broad/general background questions. Seeing if they have any family working within the state system that could be viewed as a conflict. Law field, finance, given all the cases and news surrounding the defendant in these areas it isn’t shocking.
Into the criminal justice system qualifying questions. Obviously if someone is currently pending a criminal trial themselves, should they really be hanging out on a jury? I mean, maybe. Maybe not. But in a cas eof this magnitude, it’s probably not happening.
This is going to be where we start to lose the potential jurors right off the bat. Of course. We shouldn’t be surprised at all.
Again, more personal questions kind of seeing if any medical conditions, medications, or religious commitments would interfere in scheduling for the trial. Now we are going to get into a little more personal questions aimed at putting the potential jurors in the hot seat for a second.
Of course given the nature of it all these questions are definitely meant to weed a lot of people out.
Of course wanting to make sure there are no first hand connections to Trump or the Trump Organization. Something I would also like to put out there to everyone who is probably thinking… what if they lie? That is called perjury. That is against the law. They will not only be excused but they would also be charged.
Sorry I had to split these two up, they were on two different pages of the order. Of course the defense wanted to know if there are any Never Trumper’s or Anti-Trumpers.
This next one though, is a doozy.
Followed up by these two… LOL!
Certainly not trying to seat anyone sympathetic to Trump and his lifelong crime spree. I just love how the Defense had to sneak in the “feelings about how Mr. Trump is being treated” in the case. Awww… do the little MAGAwaga got their big feelings hurt? Wahh. Poor babies. LOLZ
Par for the course in a very high profile case like this.
Well before going into this we knew that Michael Cohen was going to be a witness, but now we know Mark Pomerantz is too. LOL!
Correction. He wrote nothing. A ghost writer did the work for him and he published it as his own work. That is a correction on that one. Nothing pisses me off more than people who use ghostwriters claiming to be authors. No No Not! Unless you are making the creative journey… it is not your work. Minor pet peeve. My bad!
Obviously #37 is in regard to campaign finance since we know they used campaign dollars for the pay off in this case. Which is most definitely a crime.
Another standard question for potential jurors.
More standard kind of questioning on instructions regarding the law and how testimony in court should be looked at and decided. Something all potential jurors would have to agree with to even be considered.
God, is this over yet or what? If you are still here… congratulations until staying to the bitter end of this one.
That is a wrap folks! Those are the questions that all potential jurors will have to answer starting Monday in a NYC court room. Are you ready? Because there is no stopping it now. Jury selection will start on Monday.

I was just reading this with your video on the same playing on YouTube on my TV. Hahaha 😆 😂 Nice work.
You left out these two important questions:
"Do you or your partner have a Mushroom -shaped penis?"
"Have you ever seen or fondled a Mushroom -shaped penis"?
