I know we are still early in the week but damn I feel like I have churned out a lot of content for only being on Tuesday. I guess it really is time to get back on the grind. Speaking of back on the grind… there currently is a MASS exit from Twitter to BlueSky.
By popular demand, I have joined and I am SO happy to report back there are so many familiar faces I’ve been reunited with that I haven’t seen since I lost my OG Twitter account! If you want an old school post 2016 election on Twitter vibe… come join us.
No is a Complete Sentence
A very special episode of Oz After Dark is available and I think this is something that everyone can benefit from post election. I sat down with a friend of mine, Allie who is also a licensed therapist in the state of Connecticut and we talked about taking care of ourselves in the days after the election.
Yesterday a special episode of my new podcast Oz After Dark dropped focusing on post election feelings, taking care of ourselves and each other, and moving forward. Allie Joy from CreativelyClinical joined as a special guest and we had an amazing discussion.
I shared a few clips from the episode on Tik Tok, you can view them here:

A little bit on what is next and for those who have been asking me how to move forward… these are my suggestions. I hope that you find them helpful during these days.

Want to smile and laugh? Watch this documentary about Seattle area folk musicians Greg and Jere Canote at thecanotetwins.com We watched this Saturday night and it was the perfect antidote to the increasingly horrifying news cycle. This will help with your mental health, even if you weren't born in Seattle. Their upside down "Spoonopleans" segment is particularly hilarious and goofy. These twins along with Sandy Bradley hd an NPR show called Sandy Bradley's Potluck every Saturday in the 1990s that was something like Prairie Home Companion - just with better and livelier music. Enjoy the movie that can be streamed free at that link.
Remember the first 2 years of Trump's first term? Republicans led both houses. They do not know how to legislate so they got nothing done, including never getting around to repealing ObamaCare. Repealing that, along with Social Security and Medicare simply won't happen. Remember that these idiots also need to run for their seats in 2 and 4 years from now and repealing these popular programs would be political suicide for anybody who votes for their extinction.
